The Panama Canal

The Panama Canal is a waterway that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. I was built by the United States and opened in 1914. The length of the Panama Canal is about 65km. Around 14,000 ships travel through the canal every year.

This is a magnificent and interesting place to visit.

Panama Viejo 

Panama La Vieja ( Old Panama)  is the oldest settlement in Panama City. It is a few miles east of downtown.

Panama La Vieja is a relaxed, fascinating, and enjoyable place where visitors from all over the world come to know about our culture, traditions, and identify as Panamanians.
